HINTS ABOUT FEED OFF THE ARM & COVERSTITCH MACHINES
This category is for machines that sew off the arm (for closing
sleeves and pants). They can be in numerous configurations and be
2 or 3 needles & either with or without puller. They create
Chain stitch, chainlock, or lockstitches.
Flatlock machines can also be configured in several arm types: Cylinder, Off-the-Arm, or Flatbed. Two or more needles may also be used in these machines. Numerous setups can also be used such as pullers, binders, or metering devices.
Coverstitch machines can be Cylinder, Off-the-Arm, or Flatbed configured. They can be 2 needle, 3 thread, 3 needle 4 thread, or 3 needle with a top spreader (for 5 threads).
