HINTS ABOUT BUTTONHOLE MACHINES
Buttonholers come in many types, styles, and varieties. They can cut the fabric either before or after stitching. They can be chain stitch or lock stitch and sew in various shapes (keyhole, round edge, bar tack, etc.) All Buttonholers cannot be adjusted for making a wide range of sizes or used with all fabric thicknesses.

Buttonsewers are made to accommodate different sizes, shapes, styles, and quantities of buttons to be sewn. Buttonsewers are also considered to be Tackers, however other types of tackers are to be found under Production Machines & Equipment.

There are 2 kinds of tackers: Bar Tackers (also called belt-loop type) and General Tackers (also called drapery Tackers).

Always discuss your specific needs for buttonholing with the dealer before purchasing.
