SEW FINE, LLC Produces CUSTOM MADE PARTS AND ATTACHMENTS FOR SEWING EQUIPMENT

We can replicate, design create, or engineer any metal parts for sewing machines in our machine shop to your specifications.

We also design and create jigs, feet, pullers. We can recommend new devices and equipment to improve the quality of your sewn products or to increase production.

Here are some of the types of custom devices that we have produced:

• We developed a 5 Thread Safety Stitch machine to make and apply quarter inch welt automatically to chair & sofa cushions. The chain stitch was set for 69 nylon thread and the surge was set for Tex 40 thread. This equipment is now a standard production unit world wide
   
• We have custom-made steel pullers for layers of fabric in bathrobe production. The challenge was to get an accurate feed and strong pull on the terrycloth (ranging from 2 to 8 layers)
   
• We developed a large custom foot for a cylinder arm walking foot machine in order to sew golf bag bottoms. This pair of feet was made with the exact shape of the cup (bottom of the golf bag) and was milled out to ride in a channel so the stitch would always be straight. This device is used world wide for golf bag production.
   
• We developed a walking foot to sew pre-made plastic welt for golf bags.

WE ALSO CUSTOMIZE SEWING MACHINES & EQUIPMENT FOR ALL INDUSTRIES

We can adapt machines in our machine shop in to make them perform specific tasks. Here are some of the types of customized machines that we have produced:

• We designed and developed the production sewing machines for manufacturing Angioplasty tubes used in heart surgery. Our standard is .005 inch tolerance. We also have several machines to sew endovascular stents to graft material for the production of endovascular stent grafts.

• We customized plate and foot to sew sheer fabrics i.e. charmouse, silks, & cotton candy type fabrics;
   
• We customized and designed new feet, & slowed down the machine to sew leather knife sheaths;
   
• We customized several machines for an orthopedics manufacturing facility;
   
• We developed sewing machines used to manufacturing of burnsuits for critical care.
   
• We have converted electric sewing machines to be hand cranked for the sailing industry, and electronic hand control for the quilting industry.
   
• We developed the feed device for a large walking foot machines to sew window trimming braid down the middle onto a tape for the braid manufacturer. Now the standard of the industry.
   
• We developed many of method used for feeding large and heavy products like air inflatables through standard industrial sewing equipment. Out technology has enabled one machine operator to cut and sew a 250 pound air inflatable (jump) in one day with no help. This technology has enabled the large sewn product industry to prosper. Not to mention the workmen's comp savings
